Delco Fans
Delco fans came in 8", 10", 12" and 16" diameter sizes. The model number can easily identify 32 volt fans - if it ends with the number 2 it is a 32 volt DC fan. (Examples: 1462, 1582, 1562, 1662 etc.)
More often than not someone along the line over the past 80 years has attempted to plug a 32 volt DC fan into regular 110 volt AC current. The results are not usually good. Never buy a used fan assuming that it works. Unless the person you are buying from is a fellow Delco collector they undoubtedly tried to plug it in to see if it worked before selling it.
